NJ TRANSIT Unveils Convenient Ticketing Options

Rail, Bus, and Light Rail Tickets Now Available Through Multiple Channels

MyTix, Web Ticketing, and More Offer Enhanced Convenience

NJ TRANSIT, the state's largest public transportation provider, has rolled out a range of ticketing options designed to make purchasing tickets for rail, bus, and light rail services more convenient than ever before.

MyTix: A feature within the free NJ TRANSIT Mobile app, MyTix allows riders to purchase and display tickets directly from their smartphones. This feature eliminates the need to carry physical tickets or stand in line at ticket vending machines.

Web Ticketing: NJ TRANSIT is introducing a new web ticketing option for train travel. This option provides a secure and easy way for visitors to the region and infrequent riders to purchase tickets online. Tickets can be purchased and displayed on any internet-connected device.

WEB Buy Tickets: Through the WEB Buy Tickets option, riders can purchase and display their bus, train, or light rail tickets and passes. They can also cash in App Store cash value to buy tickets and passes.

Round-Trip Tickets: To save time on return trips, riders can now purchase round-trip tickets prior to boarding trains, buses, or light rail vehicles. This feature eliminates the need to purchase separate tickets for return trips.

Tickets remain available for purchase at ticket vending machines located at stations and stops across the NJ TRANSIT network. For added convenience, riders can purchase tickets for up to 15 people at a single time with a credit or debit card.
